Sarah's Favorite Cookies Are Coming to the Coconut Grove Farmers Market

Sarah Desamours January 9, 2026

Ever since I moved to Miami, Coconut Grove has been my favorite neighborhood. It was always where I dreamed of living, and now, getting to actually call the Grove home makes it even more special to me. It’s not just a place I live and work in, it’s a neighborhood that truly feels like home. The tree lined streets, walkability, history, and sense of community are things you don’t easily find anymore, and Coconut Grove has managed to hold onto all of that while continuing to grow. What I love most about the Grove is how it evolves without losing its identity. Thoughtfully designed new developments have joined the neighborhood over the years, but the heart of Coconut Grove remains the same. People know each other, families put down roots, and supporting local businesses is still part of everyday life.

One of my favorite Grove traditions is the Coconut Grove Farmers Market. It’s a place where neighbors run into each other, weekends slow down a bit, and small businesses truly shine. I’m there often, and it’s one of the places where I feel most connected to the community. That’s why I’m so excited to share that The Cookie Lab will be popping up at the Coconut Grove Farmers Market. The owner, Monica, is an absolute sweetheart and the wife of a very good friend of mine. Her cookies are truly something special. The chocolate chip and Dubai chocolate cookies are my favorites and have become favorites in my family as well. I loved them so much that I had Monica make several dozen so my husband and I could include them in the hotel and Airbnb welcome bags for our wedding guests, and they were a huge hit. Seeing a small business like The Cookie Lab at a place as meaningful as the Grove Farmers Market feels like a perfect fit and a perfect reflection of what makes this neighborhood so special.

If you’re spending your weekend in Coconut Grove, I highly recommend stopping by the market, supporting the local vendors, and of course grabbing some cookies.
